Hi, I'm posting this mostly for my own reference, but since I learned more about things a lot of things changed.

This is my current set up:

Weapons:
Lit 1 bow
2 +5 IB bastard swords

Gear:
Helm: +6 intel
Goggles: +13 spot
Necklace: disease immune/ +5 protect
Cloak: epic cloak of night
Bracers: +6 strength
Gloves: +6 dex
Ring 1: +3 chr, +4 resist
Ring 2: +6 wisdom
Belt: +6 con
Boots: FF/+13 balance
Armor: DT +6 vestments / GFL (30 HP) / crushing wave guard / freezing ice guard

I have the tempest necklace, and going to go for the tempest ring in TOD. I was going to make my GS item a cloak, is half made already but oh well. the cloak will be used a lot when i TR since its level 11 smoke 1.

So, endgame equipment, well what I think it might be:

Helm: ML, be replaced when get epic belt with GS or something. 20 hp, heavy fort [
Goggles: tharnes +15 spot, true seeing, +5 sneak attack bonus, +15 search
Necklace: TOD set tempest, +6 con, +15 balance
Cloak: same
Bracers: GS conc opp - disease immune? / +15 hp / +20 hp / +6 wisdom
Gloves: GS disintegrate guard - +10hp / +50 sp / +100 sp
Ring 1: TOD # Kilau's Band - Ring: Dexterity +6, Exceptional Wisdom +1, Incredible Potential (exceptional str +2)
* Set Bonus: 1d4 Additional Slash Damage
* If have Tempest III Enhancement: +3 To-Hit Bonus
Ring 2: protection +5 <-- might change this if I decide to make a GS min 2 with heavy fort, +5 protect, stoneskin clicky
Belt: belt of brute str / +6 str / GFL +30 hp [upgraded later to epic belt of mronanor +7 strength / heavy fort / toughness / yellow augment slot =
Wiz 6, Fear immune, FF, or GFL? this makes ML helm obsolete]
Boots: FF??? no friggen clues
Armor: same, but change the first to +5 resist and possibly the last tier to disintegrate guard. not sure on last tier, that is not a rush.


Room to play with (notes):
Depending on what I can find, its the boots only being used for FF. the necklace will override the balance, so if I can get the belt i can even make FF on my dragontouched or just about any epic item i get. epic will take awhile tho, while DT is pretty simple.
Finding the epic belt will take some time, but eventually will be nice to upgrade past the minos.
I might not bother with an extra 100 spell points. I never run out as it is. Might switch one of the GS to greater good guard or acid.

so much to still figure out, at least now i can start making my GS gloves and bracers.

1 Bitterscrub Fungus
2 Chipmunk Funk
3 Glistening Pebbles
1 Green Brier Twig
3 Lammanian Lily Petals
2 Locust Husk

Gloves:

I'll be grinding for awhile lol.

This helps me knowing a lil about what stuff is considered good Smile I find it quite confusing with so many enhancements and things. What is protection?

protection is an armor class enhancement. everyone wants it, especially melee class.

max is +5

i think it appears as 'deflection' bonus

Well until I get Tharnes, the archivist goggles are the best for Davidlee.

Don't need intelligence, search, spot and the archivist goggles have +3 concentration, unlike any others.

Have looked high and low and still haven't found a better static pair of goggles for my bard (besides Tharnes).

The Sandstorm Goggles from DQ2 would be good too (True Seeing), but not flagged yet (might as well go for Tharnes).

Have a Visor of the Flesh Render Guards that gives me 6 minutes of Deathblock, but it's only a clicky (lots of goggle clickies).

Yeah looked at those - performing is a weird thing.

Bard songs and such are based on how many ranks of perform you have actually trained (and not from an item).

I always put the max points into performing and my +15 performing item has never really been used.

Probably will be needed for epic stuff though.

I'll probably switch back and forth from Tharnes and these GS charisma skills goggles (because failing heal scrolls is for n00bs).

Okies... my lvl 20 stuffs:

Weapon

Rhals might ~working on getting it unlocked, had the force crit added to it
Radiance GS Quatrterstaff~ not a "typical" harry beater, but since I really don't pack a punch like other classes, it works rather well as an all around weapon, plus the ability to blind is awesome as not many can save against it

Gear
Goggles~ Spot 15, Search 15 (waiting for my Tharnes)
Necklace ~ Veriks Necklace, con +6 and action boost
Rings ~ Tumbleweed, aatack +2, Dex +6, Tumble +10 and a +6 char
Bracers~ Ogre power bracers, str +6
Armor~ Dragon Touch Vestments~ greater false life, exceptional con +1, and waiting on a 3rd ruin...hopefully a good guard, added dodge bonus
Cloak~ Epic Cloak of Night
Belt~ GS hp belt, summon rock ele and earth guard
Trinket~ bottle of air and Ginatcraft Siberys Compas
Helm~ Minos
Boots~ ff and 30% striders

Was in a DQ2 raid today and someone pulled the Torc - that's definitely an endgame piece for all mana users.

The guy offered the group 750Kpp at the start for the Torc and then wound up having it drop for him - lucky lucky lucky... Laughing

the stupid belt is giving me a hard time, really frustrating. its hard to find a group to run that crappy raid, no one likes it. the only time i seen the belt drop i offered a large scale for it and the greedy fuck wanted more. it is a nightmare getting this belt, and the problem is, even my tr will need it so i cant just skip getting it and grind for an epic yet.

so two attempts last night, failing both times against the titan has really got me wishing there was just some other way to do my build, but it seems the only way to change it is to give up either 30 HP or 5 resistance. suckage. Sad

seriously, if any of you want to run this shit raid with me, and the belt drops for you i will give 200k for it, maybe more if i got it.

its the only belt in the whole game with +6 str and gfl that isnt epic, wish it wasnt so damned hard to get. Sad

I feel your pain bro - "The Titan Awakes" is a pain... but some nice items. Problem is it takes forever.



The Titan Raid is unusually difficult to flag, organize a group, get to, and run (considering it's only a level 12 quest).

However, there is some sweet loot that drops (including the Belt Of Brute Strength).

Here's what I'd be after from the Titan Raid (good luck getting any of it to drop - lol):

For extra AC:


Good boots for lower level toons:


Casters covet these (especially melee casters):


This is awesome for WF toons during the final round of bats in VoD (DR 30/- and SR 30 for 15 seconds):

Nice loot overall there, must admit the belt would come in handy for me too, but Anto's got first dibs.

The two flagging quests for Titan have some really useful loot.

Slavers of the Shrieking Mines has two awesome rings (both go for big bucks on the AH):





Bring Me the Head of Ghola-Fan has a couple nice things too (teleport mask and UMD +5 staff):
