| Roby, such a smart ass! If it's any consolation, the water only worked once for me ^^ so it's all good, they're making me babies to hold, love and spoil, no complaints here, hehe _________________ |

| Congrats Trin! I'm going to be an aunt for the first time in November but all my family, including my brother and future sister-in-law, live 6 hours away so I probably won't get to see much of my new niece or nephew On another note, this was too ridiculous to not post it here for a laugh. Today I managed to injure myself on cheese. No, not on a knife cutting cheese. On actual cheese. I was doing dishes and there was a small plate I'd used to cut up some fresh mozzarella a couple days ago. Sitting on the counter for a couple days let a tiny bit of cheese dry up and stick to the plate. So when it wouldn't come off with a simple scrubbing I tried to get it off with my fingernail. And promptly drove said small piece of cheese waaaay too far into the underside of my nail. Of course my initial attempts at getting it out (the "ow ow ow" reaction) drove it even further before I finally did get it out. My thumb still hurts and I have that feeling of sucking at life now. _________________

| Thanks Morgan! I know the feeling Jill! All but one of mine live out west so I only get to see their little faces on facetime and maybe once or twice around holidays to actually hug them :/ and thank you ^^ I'm so excited! this one I'll get to see often Omg lol! Dangerous stealth ninja deadly cheese I've done that but never got it stuck and even then that hurt like hell o.O hope your thumb feels better soon! Huggssss _________________ |

| I feel your pain, Jill. I was doing the mental, "ow ow ow," as I read before I even came to that in your post! Hope it feels better soon. -_- Well, it may be the day for a great celebration. I was nosing through the forums and stumbled across this: The post was on May 10th. So I got curious and tried to add the name to my friends list. "This name doesn't exist." There's a good chance someone did something naughty. I laughed out loud. Childish? Yep. Satisfying? Abso-fucking-lutely. I am thoroughly tickled. Carry on! |

| I also cut my finger but I was an idiot. So I was seeing master chef and saw them cutting the potatoes (whatever was it) in a pro way so I was like "No I can do this!" -First attempt, cut the finger- MY DREAM WAS DESTROYED |

| You've got to hold the first knuckles from the top of your finger in line with your nails. That way the nails can 'dig' into the food and the knife can slide right along your finger without you trying to Edward Scissor hand the shit outta your claws. |

LMFAO. Omg. That .gif is great. As for playing sushimi with your finger - At least you won't have hairy knuckles? |

| Another thing to remember is to have a very sharp knife. Most kitchen knives are not sharp enough to do the job. _________________ |

| Don't they angle it just slightly as well so the top edge/flat of the blade slides along their fingers? |

I've learned to just keep the knife steady, let it do the work for you. And indeed, if you have a sharp knife, that should be no issue. Sadly the average kitchen has shitty knives. My thumb is living proof of that, I cut off the top during my internship. |

Not pretty. |

| One of life's lessons: If you're going to talk shit about someone, do it to their face or make sure you enter the correct email address of whomever you intend on sending it to - not the one who is the topic of your talking shittery. Like the one I received this morning. Dumbass. |
