Because I think EVERYONE should know about this, not just the few who are mentors.  And because a post by Morgan in Babel Tower reminded me that a lot of people don't know.

Level one (Yokel) goals from the mentor's screen:

Watch the help video First steps in the Renaissance Kingdoms
Work at the church**
Work 2 times in the mine or for the IMW (in "Out of Town")**
Buy food at the market
Eat food stored in your inventory
Go and chat in a tavern
Transfer 1 straw mattress from your personal inventory to your property
Write a note to Kaireth, your village mentor
Cost to level up: 10 pounds
Rewards for leveling up: one farmers candle, 35 tokens


Level two (Pauper) objectives:
Quote :
Order food in a tavern
Give your trust to another character
Buy a drink for someone in a tavern
Send a message to someone
Have at least 5 reputation points with at most 3 trust points
Get hired by a villager in the town hall*
Cut wood in the forest/Pick fruit/Fish*
Have at least 90 pounds in your inventory
Shout in the village
Cost to level up as a peasant: 90 pounds
Rewards for leveling up as a peasant: field, unknown
Cost to level up as a vagrant: 0 pounds
Rewards for leveling up as a vagrant: unknown


Level three (Peasant) objectives:
Quote :
Sell two farming products on the market
Have at least 15 reputation points with at most 8 trust points
Get at least 10 points of strength
Get at least 10 points of charisma
Get at least 10 points of intelligence
Get at least 200 pounds in your inventory
Post a message in the town hall forum or in the county tavern
Cost to level up: 0
Rewards: 90 tokens, unknown


Vagrant Level Three:
Quote :
Sell 50 objects on the market
Have at least 15 reputation points with at most 8 trust points
Get at least 10 points of strength
Get at least 10 points of charisma
Get at least 10 points of intelligence
Get at least 200 pounds in your inventory
Post 10 messages in different town or county halls
Visit 5 other villages
Cost to level up: 0
Rewards: unknown


*  If there are no axes on the forest or no 0 stat jobs available, these objectives will not be required.
** These tasks will take only 2 minutes, but will pay a full wage and mine shifts will provide 22 hours worth of product.


Mentors can now see the progress of each newborn for achieving the goals for their next level.

Anyone have the list of goals for level four?

The sheets of objectives for your level are not available yet. In your case, you still need to go and see the Count's first secretary to rise in level. Click here to meet him.

I think it is the same as going from old level 2 to old level 3.

It's the stupid 3D thing they're so in love with. They just want you to turn it on, chat in the 3D view, and get your item ticked off the list.

It's not supposed to require 3D actions. If it's turned off those items should not be required (if the Admins didn't lie yet again when I asked about it).

Just some things I picked up from reading the announcement:

And this is just down right lazy. You implement a new level up system and then stop before you reach the next few levels? So instead of releasing an entire complete update, you in actual fact have only released half of it. Because as per the obsession is on new players, so this update doesn't benefit us, nor help us, nor give us anything to do? What happens if I now go after level 3, waste funds on stats and then get the required funds and it changes again?

I've looked through the new system and it seems easy and there doesn't seem to be many major costs attached to it throughout, whereas the old system was all stat & money oriented that you wasted hundreds and thousands on leveling and now people can probably level through the new system in a few months...
You know it's all well and good wanting new players to sign up, but the trick is keeping them around. And honestly with RK's declining population wouldn't that suggest there is the real problem? And not lack of sign ups...
