Just curious if any of you guys have an opinion about these games (as I know ya all to be a group of ppl that like Free shit but, willing to shell out for something you like Smile

They have some neat titles such as,

http://www.telltalegames.com/walkingdead/
http://www.telltalegames.com/talesfromtheborderlands/
http://www.telltalegames.com/gameofthrones/

Any thoughts are welcome ... I'm mostly intrigued by the borderlands one as I've (and still am) playing the shit outta BL2 lol

I haven't looked too hard but, I'd love a free playable demo ... Just not sure if this is my cuppa, ya know?

Well, it's kinda like a Japanese interactive story, as least as far as I can tell with the walking dead one, whether or not they're carrying the same gameplay theme to the others, I'm not entirely sure. It's all more focused on the story of each game, rather than in the way you play.

Dah game:

Yea, I liked the walking dead one, but it doesnt have much replay value, sadly. I wish it was more like the choose your own adventure books, which had tons of different endings. I guess in a way, maybe it does but it doesn't really seem it to me.

Still, TWD was fun. I never actually beat it, not sure where my copy went either. I wonder how the others are.

Well, from the looks of the Badlands yin, it's got a more comedy factor to it, while the WD had the go kill yourself factor. Nice to know they have a handle on the extremes Laughing

They did the last Monkey Island and it kicked fucking ass, I'd check that out. It's a really well designed adventure game, you can get stuck for days, but that's out of your own brain farts, I haven't found a single puzzle that I couldn't solve because it was just poorly designed, and I'm about three quarters through the game so far. And the humor is amazing, but that goes for every Monkey Island game. That's all I've done that Telltale had a hand in though.

I played walking dead and was a absolute Prick to everyone, but that little girl, she was like the saving grace, otherwise it was bandit king all the way baby!

Ty for the input, unfortunatlly, atm my expensives need to be based on shit that I actually 'really' really' want and will use. Like, my shampoo, costs 3x this game but, I NEED it Razz

So yeah, doubt I will buy any of their titles. If they aren't replayable and well, like Anto said, not 'choose yor own adventure like' I'm out Sad

Oh and Joe Danvers! Cool avie and banner! lol

I'm still curious and open to these games, so, if anyone is reallly passionate and feels the need to reply, go nuts Very Happy

Well, they're sold as 'chapters', the new badlands being only chapter one, one of me pals on youtube did a video on it, goes for about four hours if you fancy having a look whether you'd be interested or not.
