I'm hearing that eBig Top is being nerfed - an invisible wall up at the first hill so you can't jump it. If that's the case, you want to farm that out as much as you can now.

The new raid crafting is looking pretty sweet.

I will be crafting epic handwraps +7 Silver, Shocking Burst, Stunning +10, Awareness 4, Exceptional Dexterity +2, Lightning Strike, Doublestrike 6%, Electrifying Blast thank you very much! Razz

Or even epic handwraps +7 Silver, Flaming Burst, Flaming Blast, Seeker +10, Exceptional Constitution +2, Acid Blast, Disintegration, Electrifying Blast ubersauce


Not to mention all the stuff you can craft for casters. Laceration for 50% blade barrier damage, sure! superior lores, awesome!

  • Fire: Exceptional Strength +2, Incineration, Righteous


Tier 3 requires: Dual-Infused Alchemical Item (Tier 2 item), Khyber Dragonshard of (Exquisite), Martial Cannith Power Cell, 10 Epic Dungeon Tokens

  • Air: +6 Enhancement Bonus, Electrifying Blast, Empty Red Augment Slot
  • Earth: +6 Enhancement Bonus, Corrosive Blast, Empty Red Augment Slot
  • Water: +6 Enhancement Bonus, Freezing Blast, Empty Red Augment Slot
  • Fire: +6 Enhancement Bonus, Fiery Blast, Empty Red Augment Slot


The Tier 3 blast effect is:
"This weapon is imbued with a wrath. On an attack roll of 20 which is confirmed as a critical hit this power will be released, dealing damage to the target and all enemies near it for 15d6 damage. A successful Reflex save (DC 34) reduces this by half."

The cost per tier is the same as weapons except that it uses Mystical Cannith Power Cell instead of Martial Cannith Power Cell

Tier 1:
Superior IX Item of

  • Air: Superior Magnetism IX, Superior IX, Air Gaurd
  • Earth: Superior Corrosion IX, Superior IX, Earthgrab Gaurd
  • Water: Superior Glaciation IX, Superior IX, Freezing Ice Gaurd
  • Fire: Superior Combustion IX, Superior IX, Magma Surge Gaurd

  • Laceration: Increases the damage of your ~th level and lower slashing and bludgeoning spells by 50%. This effect does not stack with other item effects or potions. Requires Adamantine base item.
  • Radiance. Requires Silver base item.
  • Resonance. Requires Cold Iron base item.
  • Devotion. Requires Flame Touched Iron base item.
  • Nullification. Requires Byeshk base item.
  • Impulse. Requires Crystal base item.


Tier 2:
Adds Superior Lore(12% chance, +.5 multiplier) of the base item's two elements. It also says that it removes a clicky of superior spark/erosion/inferno/freeze, but there is no indication that the base items have that ability

Tier 3:

  • Air: Efficient Metamagic Enlarge II, Greater Enchantment Focus, Spell Focus Mastery +1
  • Earth: Efficient Metamagic Empower II, Greater Conjuration Focus, Greater Spell Penetration IX
  • Water: Efficient Metamagic Extend II, Greater Transmutation Focus, Greater Elemental Spell Power
  • Fire: Efficitent Metamagic Maximize II, Greater Evocation Focus, Aracane Augmentation IX

  • Crafted in the Lord of Blades side machine:

    • 1 Kyhber Dragonshard of (tier) = 1 Empty Kyhber Dragonshard of (tier) + 1 Spirit of

  • Ingots are crafted in the Cannith Manufactury device from parts dropped by mobs in the explorer areas

I'm digging the extra backpack slot from the DDO store (about time).

My casters were full-up and it really helps.

Also got the artificer class - gonna wait to roll one - cool to see the ones in the guild already (*bark bark*). Very Happy

Ran epic Chrono and elite Reaver last night - both endbosses have more HP now (especially the Stormreaver).

not only do they bark, they get ship buffs too. Oh and if they are on attack, they will go chase down the training dummy... I kept trying to figure out where Jaylbait went to last night Laughing

Oh yes loving the puppy really it was a shame to go to level 2 and see him get bigger.

Was in a group with a guy who said he was in a full group of Art and said the 6 puppies chewed up zombies like no tomorrow and ones was heard to say, hmmm not as good as trolls.

I am super loving the class its lots of fun at low levels. Not sure how they will go at the end.

but off all the classes I have played its the most fun by a long shot.

Abashai seemed about normal although others claimed he had more HPs. Ran a Shroud the other day and 1/2 the party was taken out in one of Harry's blasts. Not sure if it was due to lag or the healers weren't paying attention as it happened during the last 10% of the final fight (and we hadn't had any problems before). Harry didn't seem to have significantly greater HPs than before U11. Stormreaver had a noticeable HP increase on elite.

I've heard people saying that the endboss difficulty across all raids now goes up exponentially on hard and elite.

Pulled these last night on Mistermiyagi in the new pack (all BTA).

There are boot farming runs in "Schemes of the Enemy" you'll see in the lfms.

Jet Propulsion is basically one clicky of abundant step with a long cooldown.

They drop in the master of the hound chest (Dackle is the boss), and also in the end chests as well.

In fact, on elite, there were 7 or 8 end chests and 2 sets of boots dropped for me there.

Unfortunately, even though the boots are BTA, they are also exclusive, meaning you can only take one set home at a time. Everyone else in the party had/got a pair, so my extra pair stayed in the chest, because nobody could pick them up. Laughing

Update: Tried farming the boots on solo with Quasqueton.

Results: Very easily done on normal if you have a decent search, HPs/DPS, and if you can self-heal (even with pots).

Update: I realized that I didn't have to leave the extra pair in the chest (*kicks self*)

If you get more than one pair during the run, you won't be able to carry more than one pair, because they are exclusive.

However, you can destroy the pair you have in inventory, then loot the one in the chest.

You can then buy back the one you destroyed later. Wink
