Don't want to say personal stuff but I'm busy and ok, dealing with things. No, online gaming isn't for me. I miss the oldies, e.g. Plu's blunt and straightforwardness. I wish NNGO and everyone else awesome out there, the best! eta: I'm a bimbo and was busy yesterday not thinking straight, accidentally autoretreated, had to use password reminder to get back to dead tomorrow

Alright i should probably clarify... i hate it when people quit games im playing. Kinda makes it seem like the game is dying and makes me want to quit as well. I dont mean to be insensitive but how about if u decide to quit the game say you're goodbyes via personal mail and leave it out of the public eye. That way we dont all have to get that melancholic feeling that comes with having to say goodbye...

I do understand and respect your point, I do, but one of the main purposes of this forum is for people to keep in touch. So, for closure and information sake, it is good to know who quit and who did not; and it is good to know that people still have this forum to keep in touch with friends and to say goodbye if they must. Smile

Yeah I respect it too, however, if Mel hadn't at least said something I'd have been worried sick! There have been folks drop out of games and I never find out what happened to them...or the worst has happened, saddens me...at least this way we can at least smile, nod an understanding and keep in touch, if possible Smile

It is, however with the ability to like it on facebook and google plus I think it may grow soon enough...atleast in dedicated members not 5 min players.

Also Eastern Europeans are joining quite a bit.

I was supposed to quit this ages ago too, as how others do to officially stop playing the game but am always busy. In the process of cleaning my shit up here, all of it. It is just that Shockwave Flash keeps crashing on me here, plus I fall asleep on the laptop per usual. Almost finished cleaning though. Then, bye. If anyone who somewhat knew me returns, have fun!

I don't like it, as it is mostly nonsense crap I come out with. Did try roleplaying ages ago but it isn't really for me, I joined the game as my creative interests then related to it. Learnt a lot though, from my time playing! Smile Am old though now! I have a bit of guilt in me. My closest mate passed away recently, been keeping myself busy focusing, was a role model to me, made me realise that I need to fix up and should always improve to not take life for granted, it was just really odd coincidental timing when I was already in the process of quitting the game. All of my friends are far, barely get to see them so have to make effort but been using the phone now lots to catchup, quite typical! I fall sleepies whilst talking lol when tired but other people do too Neutral. Anyways, it only makes sense to quit properly, as how Devin did. Actually may delete this, as am not asking for sympathy! Just realised a lot

Blargh. Don't get all guilty and self conscious. I do that allll the time. It messes with your mind and how ya think others view you.

Look at it this way. There are millions of Melissas in the world. I'm one of them. The only people who will ever know it's you who said all this stuff is us and you.

I used to dread so much the idea of wasting my life. And I think that idea comes from what we're taught in school and in the media, that everyday we're not doing something spectacular, we're wasting time. I don't think that's true. Think of how it was, hundreds of years ago, when people rarely traveled out of their own local area, farmed, made babies, had no electricity, and rarely made it to middle age?

If you want to go out there and do spectacular things, go ahead and do them. Just for the experience. But don't live out your life thinking you are wasting it, and don't regret anything you've had to say. If you think you've said something dumb, well, we all do. And as many times as we might change or evolve our opinions, a lot of what we think may or may not be the most accurate or enlightened. Maybe if we lived like...500 years and had that long to think about everything, then we would be super geniuses, but who the fuck wants to live that long?

Maybe you need to make older friends that are young in spirit. Then you'd feel less bad about being old. I don't feel bad about being 30, except when younger people call themselves old. Razz

I could have gone upstate to the archery range today but I stayed home. I don't like doing archery in the cold.

Been playing WoW for a bit. Great place for me to go to and forget all about RK. Everything that should be killed, can be. Very Happy And it's so prettttyyyyyy. And I missed my old toons.

But yeah, I'm a hermit. Always have been, always will be. I feel like I'm not myself when I hangout with lots of people. Will probably spend a lot of my summer indoors, doing archery, range golf or to the salt marsh to look at the water. Smile I'm boring. Razz

If you have ad-block installed, you can block the chat widget by clicking the top-right of it. I don't have it blocked but I have it set not to load up for me by default. I have to click on it to load.

I agree. Mostly because threads where you've posted look ridiculous. Its not like you got something to hide.

I know I have sometimes posted stuff I'm a bit torn about, especially RL stuff. But then, I think maybe if even only one person can benefit from what I've said and my experiences, that is something accomplished. So I leave them even if I ever go back to reading whatever I wrote I cringe Razz (so I simply don't go back, written is written, said is said).
